The curling iron is really good, as long as you keep a few things in mind. Best to practise on the side sections first. Always pull the barrel downwards when releasing. Start off at 100°C. Have a look at the left and right buttons and see which way they rotate. You can turn the temperature up if needed. It heats up really quickly once it's switched on. It comes with a silicone mat and a set of heat-resistant gloves. If you follow all of the above, it gives you lovely curls and waves.
I’ve been using this 9mm automatic curler for a few days now, and I’m particularly fond of it for creating small, defined, and long-lasting curls. It’s absolutely spot on if you’re after a more defined finish or plenty of volume.
One of its standout features is the rapid heat-up time: it’s ready to use in just 30 seconds, which is incredibly handy when you’re in a rush. Plus, with 14 temperature settings (100-230 °C), it’s easy to tailor to your hair type to avoid unnecessary damage.
The 9mm barrel creates quite a tight curl, making it perfect for more defined looks or even for touching up natural curls. The automatic system takes the hassle out of styling and helps achieve uniform curls, even if you’re not particularly experienced.
The LED display is clear, making it easy to keep an eye on the selected temperature. It’s also a massive bonus that it includes an automatic shut-off, which gives you that extra bit of peace of mind whilst using it.
As a point to note, creating smaller curls can take a bit longer if you have a lot of hair, as it requires working with finer sections. It’s also worth having a practice run the first few times to get the best results.
All in all, it’s a cracking choice if you’re looking for a comfortable and effective curler to achieve small, defined, and long-lasting curls at home.
